Infiltrator Systems Inc. Joins Graham Partners, Inc. as Springboard for Future Growth

OLD SAYBROOK, CT—Infiltrator Systems Inc., the world leader in the manufacture of plastic onsite wastewater chambers, sold a controlling interest of the company to Graham Partners Inc.  The acquisition gives Infiltrator Systems Inc. (ISI) the opportunity to further expand its continued high growth and product innovation through access to a large institutional source of capital.

Graham Partners is a leading, lower-middle market industrial private equity firm based in suburban Philadelphia with over $800 million under management.  Graham Partners is sponsored by the privately held Graham Group of York, PA, an industrial and investment concern with global interests in plastics, packaging, machinery, building products and outsource manufacturing.

In conjunction with the acquisition, Jim Nichols, former president, has taken the position of chairman of the board and Roy Moore has been elevated from his position as vice president of manufacturing to become the new president of Infiltrator Systems.  Jim Nichols states, "Since the company's beginning, Roy Moore has been instrumental in ISI's success and growth.  He created Infiltrator's patented manufacturing process and went on to lead manufacturing as well as sales and marketing.  I am particularly pleased to pass the leadership of Infiltrator Systems to Roy Moore."

"I am proud to become the President of Infiltrator Systems and excited to work with Graham Partners," says Moore.  "Through our partnership, we will continue to increase Infiltrator's production capacity and our product innovations in order to meet the growing demands of our customers.  We will also continue to emphasize the importance of our relationships with our distribution and installation partners.  We will continue to build on these relationships."

The Graham Partners approach to management of an acquired business is to support the existing day-to-day operations of the company while at the same time provide additional resources to help facilitate growth.  As Rob Newbold, managing principal from Graham Partners says, "We recognize the success Infiltrator Systems has achieved through its current business methods.  We support the existing management and recognize the valuable partnerships Infiltrator has developed in the onsite wastewater industry.  We look forward to helping ISI grow its industry-leading position."

Since its inception in 1986, Infiltrator Systems Inc. (ISI) has introduced innovative products that meet increasingly stringent environmental and regulatory onsite wastewater treatment requirements while providing installers, designers and property owners with superior, cost-efficient solutions for their onsite septic needs.  Infiltrator chambers are approved in all 50 states.  In 2005, more than one in four leachfield systems installed in North America is an Infiltrator Chamber System.
